There are three Time-Recording programmes to choose from: TimeExpense, FixedFee, and TimeBasic and all of them record time and expenses.

There are separate screens for Data Entry of hours worked and expenses. Entries can be attributed to clients (chargeable time/expenses) or to your own company (non-chargeable time/expenses).

They can be used on a single computer or on a network.

TimeExpense

The network version of TimeExpense is our best-selling version of Time Recording and specifically is designed for those who charge and bill by the hour. In addition to user-friendly data-entry screens, the reports that are used most (Time Sheets and Client-Centred Work in Progress Reports) are easily accessed by any user.

If you require both detailed and summary analysis of the work that you have done, then TimeExpense will provide this for you in the form of reports that you can restrict access to. Billing Analysis is available on a client-centred level, as a summary for the whole firm, or in full - showing every bill, every recovery and the effective hourly rate for each client and the firm as a whole!

Work done can be obtained as a summary - By Department (or Partner), as an Aged List, as Work Written Off/Invoiced, or as Work Done for a Client during any particular period that you want to examine.

You can analyse the work you do for any specified client and obtain statistical analysis on that work to give you performance figures.

All of the above reports can be obtained as at any date that you choose. Although there is no 'closing off' for the week, month or year, the Company Statistics Report shows the current year's performance figures only. This can quickly and easily be changed to provide performance figures for previous periods if so required.

TimeExpense is available both in standalone and networked versions.  The advantage with buying the network version is that you can have as few as two computers linked together or as many as twenty, but the price is still the same!  Yes really!

 

FixedFee

This is the 'all singing, all dancing' version of Time Recording; designed for those who charge by the hour and/or on a fixed fee basis. Like TimeExpense the data-entry screens are designed with the user in mind and the reports that are used most (Time Sheets and Client-Centred Work in Progress Reports) are easily accessed by any user.

As with TimeExpense, if you also require both detailed and summary analysis of the work that you have done, then FixedFee will provide this for you in the form of reports that you can restrict access to. Billing Analysis is available on a client-centred level, as a summary for the whole firm, or in full - showing every bill, every recovery and the effective hourly rate for each client and the firm as a whole! The difference lays in that you can obtain separate reports for Project (or fixed fee) work and for Normal (ad hoc or non-project) Work.

Work done, whether on Fixed Fee work or Normal work, can be obtained as a summary - By Department (or Partner), as an Aged List, as Work Written Off/Invoiced, or as Work Done for a Client during any particular period that you want to examine.

This is the 'entry level' version of Time Recording; designed for those service professionals who only want to record their time and expenditure for clients and have no need for a 'Billing' facility. In addition to user-friendly data-entry screens, the reports that are used most (Time Sheets and Client-Centred Work Done Reports) are easily accessed by any user.

If you also require both detailed and summary analysis of the work that you have done, then TimeBasic will provide reports for you, but as there is no billing facility with this version, reports are limited.

Work done can be obtained as a summary - By Department (or Partner),  or as Work Done for a Client during any particular period that you want to examine.

All of the above reports can be obtained as at any date range that you choose.

Please Note:

The Annual Licence Fee doesn't just cover continued use of the software, it means that you get our continued support if you have any problems at any stage.  If you buy the networked version, it also means that as we add new features to the programme we will provide send new updated software programmes at no extra cost.

The nature of theStandalone version of Time Recording (the data being stored within the programme itself) it is not possible to provide updated standalone software.  However, it is possible to upgrade to a network version without loss of data and so take advantage of any improvements or additional features that we make.
